Police Officer Killed During Attack on LG Chairman’s Home in Katsina

A police officer was killed in an attack on the home of Maharazu Dayi, the Chairman of Malumfashi Local Government Area in Katsina State.

The assault took place on Tuesday, when gunmen stormed the residence.

Corporal Shamsudeen Lawal was shot during the incident and later died in the hospital.

The Katsina Police confirmed the officer’s death and stated that three suspects have been arrested.

The police have launched an investigation into the attack.

An anonymous witness revealed that the chairman and his family were present during the attack, but security forces managed to prevent further harm.
