Police Eliminate Nine Kidnappers in Lagos Operation

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the neutralization of nine kidnappers in the Ladipo area of the state.
According to PUNCH Online, the incident occurred when the kidnappers attempted to abduct an individual on Thursday but were intercepted by the police.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, verified the operation, stating that the suspects were killed during an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement officers.
He reported, “The kidnappers, numbering nine, were neutralised during the gun duel while attempting an abduction in Ladipo. The incident occurred around 8 pm on Thursday.”

Photographs of the deceased individuals were observed on a fuel tanker at the command headquarters in Ikeja, along with recovered firearms, ammunition, and military uniforms reportedly seized from the suspects.
