TORONTO – A Delta Air Lines flight operated by Endeavor Air, a CRJ700 aircraft traveling from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), crashed while landing at Toronto Airport on February 17, 2025.

Initial reports indicate that the aircraft experienced a flap actuator failure, resulting in a hard landing that caused it to overturn near the runway.

Authorities have not yet confirmed details regarding injuries or casualties. Investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the mechanical failure and assessing its impact on airport operations.

The aircraft involved in the incident is a Mitsubishi CRJ900, registered as N932XJ. At 15.6 years old, it has been part of the Delta Connection fleet since 2013 and is powered by two GE CF34-8C5 engines.
