Ologunagba noted that the establishment of the committee to oversee the activities of the Imo chapter of the party was in line with section 29(2)(b) of the PDP Constitution (as Amended in 2017).

According to him, the caretaker committee is responsible for running the party’s affairs for a period not exceeding 90 days or until a new Executive Committee is elected.

He said other committee members included Ugorji Onuegbu (secretary), Esther Aguwamba, Nnamdi Nsorom, Nwoke Oma, and Edith Nwachi.

The secretary urged all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the PDP in Imo to remain united and continue to work together for the progress of the party in the state.
