Ahmad Isah, known as the “Ordinary President,” is not missing, according to one of his long-time associates.
Rumours circulating on social media about his arrest and imprisonment have been dismissed as false.
The associate, who has worked with Isah for over 16 years, confirmed that he is taking a break, not detained.
Isah, a well-known human rights advocate, has been a consistent voice for the marginalized and oppressed in Nigeria.
His associate explained that Isah had dedicated much of his life to fighting for justice and had rarely taken time off.
The break, the associate stated, was voluntary, as Isah had been working tirelessly without rest for many years.
The associate further shared that Isah had been known to rise early each day, preparing for his mission of justice, and working late into the night.
He noted that even the most dedicated individuals need time to rest and recharge.
The public was urged to ignore the rumors and to send support and prayers to Isah during his rest.
The associate assured that Isah was in good health and would return to continue his advocacy even stronger.
Ahmad Isah is recognized for his work on the Brekete Family program, where he gives a platform to ordinary Nigerians seeking justice.
