Ondo Students Honour Rep Member, Omogbehin Over Outstanding Performance

Students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Ondo State have recognised the outstanding performance and Leadership quality of Hon. Mike Omogbehin, the Lawmaker representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in Ondo State, with a Merit Award as the most Outstanding Member of the House of Representatives in 2018.

While presenting the Award on behalf of the Students Representative
Council of the Polytechnic, Comrade Olufemi Omogunwa, said the Award presentation was necessary in recognition of the sterling performance  and contribution of Omogbehin to Education as Member of the House of Representatives between 2015 till date.

Omogbehin thanked the Students for the honour. He however advised them not to relent in their quest to make positive impact in the society.

He also hinted the Students that he did not renege on any of his electoral promises for his constituents as a Lawmaker.

“In fufilment of the electoral promises I made towards supporting the Educational sector under my Tripod Agenda, I wish to intimate you all that over 690 Students have benefited from my Bursary Scheme with 4 equiped Library built while I am currently working on the 5th one”, Omogbehin said.

The Award presentation was done in Abuja following the visit of the Students to the green Chamber of the National Assembly to observe Plenary Session of the Federal Lawmakers as part of their academic exploration for knowledge.
