Ondo Poll: I remain a member of APC, Senator Omogunwa denies joining ZLP

Senator Yele Omogunwa, the former Lawmaker who represented Ondo South Senatorial District at the 8th Assembly, on Tuesday, denied joining the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

Omogunwa, a member of the ruling APC in Ondo State personally issued a statement to debunk the report of his defection to the ZLP.

He wrote.

”I want to state without equivocation and any iota of doubt, that I, Senator Yele Omogunwa, remains a member of the APC, as there is no where I have said that to anyone or do anything suggesting my moving out of the APC”.

“This is nothing but a cheap blackmail to cause disaffection among my teeming supporters in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State and across the state in general.

“It is not uncommon for stories of this nature to fly around in a season like this.

“Let me reiterate that my zeal for the APC and unwavering love for the wellbeing of the people of Ondo South Senatorial District and the state at large remains unshakable”, he added.
