Ondo police deploys personnel ahead of Aiyedatiwa’s inauguration

Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Monday, the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Wilfred Afolabi, has announced the deployment of security personnel to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.

A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed that all security agencies will be present at the venue.

Afolabi emphasized that measures have been put in place to maintain safety for all attendees.

He clarified that security escorts for VIPs will not be allowed to carry rifles into the event but can remain near the stadium’s perimeter.

Commuters who usually use routes around the venue have been advised to seek alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Additionally, vehicle owners who normally park near the stadium are encouraged to find safer spots to prevent obstruction and damage.

Afolabi urged residents to comply with the guidelines to ensure an organized and secure event.
