Ondo PDP group, PSG expresses shock, releases statement over death of Expensive

The Peoples Democratic Party Support Group (PSG) in Ondo State, on Monday, expressed shock over the demise of Hon. Adedayo Omolafe, a Federal Lawmaker representing Akure South/Akure North federal constituency.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Omolafe popularly known as ” Expensive ” passed on at about 2 am on Monday at the Federal Medical Centre FMC, Owo, Ondo state.

In a statement signed by Kunle Adeloye, the Secretary of PSG in Ondo State, the group described the untimely death of Expensive as a rude shock.

“The news of the demise of Hon. Adedayo Omolafe a.k.a Expensive is a rude shock to us as members of the Peoples Democratic Party Support Group (PSG) in Ondo State.”

“We were waiting for the time that what we hitherto termed to be a rumour would be refuted but alas, it is true.”

“Hon. Adedayo Omolafe until his untimely death was the lawmaker representing Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.”

“He was a former Supervisor for Health and Chairman of Akure South Local Government. He was also the chairman of Ondo State Property Development Corporation (OSPDC) under the administration of Dr Olusegun Mimiko.”

“He was a household name in the politics of Akure and Ondo State at large. He was a cheerful giver, very accommodating and unassuming.”

“He will be fondly remembered for his love for his people and consistency in the PDP during thick and thin

“We pray for the repose of his soul as we send our condolences to the Ondo State chapter of the PDP”.

“To Akure people and members of his immediate family, please accept our condolences over this irreparable loss”, the group said in the statement.
