Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has declared that Ondo State is actively encouraging investment to boost its economic growth.

During a meeting in Akure with Sahara Energy’s management team, Aiyedatiwa highlighted the state’s readiness to support the company, which was recently granted licenses to manage two oil fields in Ilaje Local Government Area by the Federal Government.

The governor assured Sahara Energy of the state’s full backing and emphasized the importance of a safe and investor-friendly environment, Vanguard reports.

He also called on local communities to collaborate with the company, ensuring a smooth operation.

Engr. Funsho Kupolokun, Sahara Energy’s Chairman and a former NNPC Managing Director, expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and sought his blessing to begin operations.

He committed to adhering to the state’s regulations as part of the company’s efforts to foster a positive relationship with Ondo State.
