Ondo Guber Aspirants Patronising Abuja At the Expense of Electorate

By Debo Akinbami

The rate at which political aspirants are patronising Abuja for affirmation is ridiculous and speaks to how much the people are taken for granted in the electoral process.

For some time now, we have often been treated to fictitious endorsement claims here and there.

It is either Mr A is claiming to bear Akeredolu’s badge of blessing or Mr B giving a narrative of how President Tinubu signed on his palm before hand.

Only few of the aspirers are giving the populace the respect they deserve by addressing salient issues.

Meanwhile, this is not a time to be perfunctory with the future of Ondo State. We don’t need a governor loved by Tinubu who lacks the mental wherewithal for the job.

We need a governor who has what it takes to make a visible difference in the socioeconomic status of the state; a man or woman who has the requisite energies and intellect to build a new Ondo State, not clowns clad in borrowed gowns.
