As the trend of cooking record-breaking continues in Nigeria, Ondo-based chef, Adeola Adeyeye is attempting to break the world’s longest cooking record held by an individual.

Adeyeye who stated this via her Twitter handle, said she has begun a 150-hour cook-a-thon, to break the current world longest cooking marathon record held by the Akwa-Ibom chef, Hilda Baci.

Starnews Nigeria reports that the Ondo chef began the challenge on Friday, June 30, 2023, in the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State and will conclude on Thursday, June 6, 2023.

Recall that an Ekiti-based chef, Damilola Adeparusi recently attempted to break the record for longest cooking hours in Oye Ekiti local government area of Ekiti state after cooking for about 120 hours, but was not officially registered with the Guinness Book of Records, GWR.

However, Damilola has expressed her desire to embark on another cooking marathon soon after declaring that she has officially notified the Guinness Book of Records.
