Ondo APC Dismisses Allegations of Crisis with Gov Aiyedatiwa

In response to recent allegations of neglect by some members of the House of Representatives from Ondo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo has issued a press statement refuting the claims.

The State Working Committee of the party recently paid an unscheduled visit to Governor Aiyedatiwa, who, as the party’s leader, engaged in discussions to strengthen the party and promote unity.

Contrary to the allegations, the Governor did not discuss personal ambitions but expressed a commitment to ensuring a dignified burial for the late leader, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The party, through State Chairman Engr. Adetimehin, raised concerns that were assured to be addressed promptly by the Governor.

Honourables Abiola Makinde and Donald Ojogo took the initiative to discredit the spurious allegations made by their colleagues.

The party emphasized there is no discord between the Governor and the party structures, with a focus on the chapter’s development being the priority.

Ondo APC urged party leaders, including federal lawmakers, to align with the chapter’s goals and support initiatives that reflect nobility.

The Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, emphasized the need for unity and condemns discordant tunes that sow malice and self-interest in Ondo State politics.
