Ondo 2024: Omolere emerges AA candidate

 

Akinuli Omolere has secured the gubernatorial candidacy for the Action Alliance (AA) Party ahead of the November 16th Ondo state governorship elections.

This announcement was made by James Vernimbe, the chairman of the primary Election committee, in a statement released on Saturday in Abuja.

He noted that the election process was closely monitored by both Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) observers and party supporters within the state.

“Total number of delegates at the primary election was 90; total number of accredited delegates was 73; total votes cast was 73; total number of valid votes was 73; total number of invalid votes was nil; mode of election was Option A4.

“Akinuli Fred Omolere emerged as the as the winner with 45 votes against Adeyemi O. Adetunji, Festus Oke Olusegun and Duke Oyinbeinyefa, who scored 16, 7 and 5 votes, respectively, ” he said.

Mr Vernimbe commended the conduct of the other aspirants and their agents and urged them to support the party’s candidates to emerge victorious at the guber poll.

He also expressed optimism in the candidate’s ability to triumph at the polls.
