Okitipupa Police Station’s new look by a compassionate Senator

Distinguished Senator Nicholas Tofowomo has once again demonstrated his love for the safety of the people in the senatorial district he superintends in Ondo State.

Accepting the incontrovertible fact that the first dividend of democracy that could be accorded to human lives irrespective of ethnic inclinations, religious denomination or whatever life offers to mankind is SECURITY.

Recalling that the new generational revolutionary protest codenamed #EndSARS took another regrettable and condemnable dimension in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo South Senatorial District, one out of the numerous ancient legacies transferred to us by our pre/post-colonial legends is the Okitipupa Divisional Headquarters of the Nigerian Police Force that was utterly destroyed by the society touted urchins.

Okitipupa Police Station was visited by the indigenous Arsonist. They even carted away valuables confiscated by the Nigerian Police.

Having assessed the level of damages done to those monumental legacies bequeathed upon us in Okitipupa LGA, the distinguished Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo decided to take the matter of the security of our lives so imperative. He swung into action and did the needful.

The Yoruba aphorism that “the burning of the King’s palace calls for a state of the art architectural beauty” has come to play as Senator Nicholas Tofowomo made real his promise to rebuild the destroyed buildings.

It’s longer news that the Okitipupa Divisional Police had now worn a new look, courtesy of the deliberate and compassionate disposition of the Senator who personally sponsored the reconstruction of the buildings without recourse to Constituencies allowances or the involvement of any Federal Government Agencies.

We’re looking forward to other lofty programmes from the People’s Senator as he continues in his people-oriented innovations.
