The Police Service Commission (PSC) has confirmed the appointment of Olanrewaju Ogunlowo as the new Commissioner of Police for Ogun State.
Ogunlowo, who previously served in Kwara State, replaces Abiodun Alamutu, who recently retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
In a formal announcement, the PSC stated that the appointment details have been communicated to the Inspector General of Police for necessary action.
The Chairman of the Commission, Hashimu Argungu (rtd), welcomed Ogunlowo to his new role and urged him to prioritize effective policing to ensure law and order across Ogun State.
The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to working with the police to create safer communities nationwide.
