Odimayo: 43 Garlands To A Glittering Prince Imbued With aura Of Benevolence

By Ogungbemi Adeyemi

God, the creator of all creatures dotted in our hearts holes of compassion, empathy and humanity. However, men are at liberty to use that which God gave them to better the lots of people around them or to get them frustrated without recourse to succor or help to soothe their grinding pains.

Dear Distinguished MHR Sir,

You’re a Prince from the source living true to the legacy of your father. The ointments of kindness and support to our people have been your driving force. You’re one of the few political figures that care to attend to your people when you’re around and at no time have you given the sorrowed heart a reason to regret meeting you.

I can tell it to the mountain, valley, over the sea and everywhere that I didn’t make a mistake supporting your candidature to notch the seat at the Green Chamber. Like all human, you’re not infallible as you have your failings and fallings. However, your large heart, healing smiles and charming physique make you distinct, distinguished and different from others in your class and status.

Not up to a week at the plenary, you stood and spoke for us as citizens of this country facing the challenges of perennial power outage for more than a decade. You thundered the sorrowful serenades of both old and young, male and female, elites and downtrodden to the ears of your colleagues with a view to proffering lasting solution. History shall not be unkind to you.

Your flair for human capacity development empowering 69 constituents across the 23 wards in Okitipupa-Irele Federal Constituency for the space of SIX MONTHS after which another 69 shall successively be empowered and your promised compilation of the names of five hundred constituents to be paid fifty thousand naira each as part of your efforts to alleviate the hardships caused by subsidy removal stressing that the selection will be fair and unbiased.

Noteworthy is the approval of at least 3.5 kilometres of street lights for the Irele/Okitipupa federal constituency and the two bills, namely the Bill for the Establishment of the University of Agriculture and the Bill for the Establishment of Federal Medical Center in Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency which will be presented upon the resumption of the National Assembly from recess.

All I can appeal to your conscience is to put on the cloak of equity, justice, and fairness giving equal treatment to the THREE CONSTITUENCIES under your watch at the Green Chamber.

On this auspicious day of your birth, I can verily say Ikale is blessed to have you as a worthy son trying his best until his best is enough for the land.

Keep the flag flying.
Make millionaires of people around you.
Give and gift for self promotion and greater good of mankind.

I celebrate my boss, brother and friend.

May your days be long. May you work and never stumble or tumble or stumble.

Success in your future endeavors.

Aloha!
