Nicholas Tofowomo, the Senator representing Ondo South at the Senate, has been awarded by Ifesowapo Youth Forum (I.Y.F) – a group popularly known as “Alejo parapo” for his performance and demonstrated leadership ability in the 9th Assembly.
Tofowomo was conferred with an award of excellence and pacesetter on Sunday in Ore City, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government of Ondo State by the group.
Starnews Nigeria reports that the duo of Hon. Henry Akinriboya and Hon Dotun Olorunyomi were also honoured with an award respectively by the said group for their service to humanity.
At the event were Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders in Odigbo Local Government including party executives.
Others were friends, family and associates.
Speaking after receiving the award, Senator Tofowomo, while thanking the group, dedicated the award to his political team.
He said: “I am happy to receive this award. Thank you so much for honouring me. Some of my works would not have been possible if not for my political team. So, I dedicate this award to my team and my political family. I promise I will not disappoint you. I thank you so much sincerely”.
