Ondo State, Nigeria, O.C. General has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa following his decisive victory in the Ondo State governorship election held yesterday.

In a statement on Sunday, Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, Special Assistant to Governor Aiyedatiwa, expressed his pride in securing a landslide win in his polling unit. The results from his unit highlighted a significant margin, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) garnering 218 votes, while the closest rival, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), managed only 20 votes.

Obayangban took the opportunity to thank the electorate of Ondo State for their overwhelming support and for placing their trust in Aiyedatiwa. He urged Agboola Ajayi, the PDP candidate, to gracefully accept the outcome of the election and acknowledge the will of the people.

In his message, Obayangban also emphasized the importance of Governor Aiyedatiwa remaining true to his commitments and not disappointing the citizens who voted for him. He expressed optimism for the future of Ondo State under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and the positive changes that lie ahead.

As the new administration prepares to take office, the focus will now shift to addressing the needs and aspirations of the people of Ondo State, with hopes for continued progress and development.
