NiMet predicts three-day thunderstorms, rain from Sunday

NiMet has issued a weather forecast predicting widespread rain across Nigeria from Sunday through Tuesday. According to the agency’s report released in Abuja on Saturday, thunderstorms are expected in various states each day, starting with northern regions on Sunday morning, spreading to central and southern states later in the day. Monday and Tuesday also anticipate thunderstorm activity across the country, with specific regions experiencing morning, afternoon, and evening rain.

NiMet advises caution due to possible strong winds accompanying thunderstorms and urges airline operators to stay updated with their weather reports for efficient planning.
