Newly elected Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, kneeling to greet President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, has led to reactions from Twitter users, the Punch has reported.
The verified Twitter handle of the Federal Government, @AsoRock, shared photos of the visit of the elected leaders of the ninth National Assembly to President Buhari on Tuesday night.
“Last night, President @MBuhari received newly elected Senate President Lawan Ahmed and newly elected Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, at the Residence State House in Abuja. They were accompanied by few other Senators,” @AsoRock tweeted.
Following the release of the photos, some Twitter users have expressed their opinions on the ‘show of respect’ by the Senator from the South-South region.
