Nigerian Gospel Singer Nabbed With Girlfriend’s Severed Head

Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, a Nigerian gospel singer, was arrested on Sunday, January 12, after he was caught carrying a bag containing the severed head of a woman believed to be his girlfriend.

According to Politics Nigeria, initial reports suggested the arrest took place in Abuja, but Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, clarified that the incident occurred in Nasarawa State, which borders the FCT.

She urged the public to ensure accuracy in their reports to prevent confusion.

The arrest became a viral topic on social media after witnesses noticed Ajayi carrying a nylon bag from which flies were emerging. Upon stopping him, bystanders discovered the bag contained a freshly severed human head.

The crowd immediately raised an alarm, restraining him until the police arrived to take him into custody.

The disturbing incident has shocked the public, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crime.
