A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter crashed early Monday morning in Tami village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Locals reported hearing a loud sound around 5 a.m., prompting them to rush to the scene, where they saw the pilot emerging from the wreckage.
Military officers from the Nigerian Air Force quickly arrived to secure the area and begin an initial investigation. They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorized access and ensure villagers’ safety, while conducting preliminary assessments to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown.
As of the time of this report, the Nigerian Air Force had not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.
