A Nigerian based in Qatar has alleged that a prominent Nigerian politician owns a three-storey building on Pearl Island in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The Nigerian content creator, Sunday Agu, a.k.a Mr. Cucumber, shared in a video that some Africans informed him the three-storey building belongs to a Nigerian politician.
He went on to confirm this with the security guard of the building, who stated that it is indeed true.
“The most famous Nigerian politician owns these three buildings and has about 20 properties here, worth billions of naira,” Mr. Cucumber said.
Although Mr. Cucumber chose to remain anonymous and did not mention the name of the owner, he also alleged that the money used in constructing these buildings was stolen from Nigeria.
According to him, the money spent on constructing these buildings could have been used to create jobs by investing in Nigeria.
He called on Nigerian politicians to replicate such developments in their own country so that their people can benefit, rather than investing in other countries.
