Nigeria confirms 94 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday confirmed 94 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the country.

NCDC made this known on its verified Twitter handle. It also disclosed that so far, 1,158 persons have died of the disease.

It said 937 of the 58,795 people who were tested for COVID-19 between Nov. 1 and Nov. 8 tested positive.

The health agency further stated that Lagos had 50 cases while FCT followed with 24 and Kwara, 9.

”Edo-4, Kaduna-3, Ondo-2 and Plateau-2,” it stated.

It added that the nation’s confirmed cases now stood at 64,184 and 60,069 have been discharged.
