NGO in Okitipupa distributes Cash to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts in Ondo State

In a bid to reduce the adverse effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, a non-governmental organization, Roberts-Florence Oyesanmi Foundation has graciously distributed financial relief of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) to vulnerable people in the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State.

Starnews NG reports that the foundation distributed cash gift of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000) each to hundreds of vulnerable people in Okitipupa, Ilaje, Irele, Ese-Odo, Odigbo and Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Governments respectively under Ondo South.

The cash gift was given to old men and women, physically challenged and vulnerable people within the senatorial district on April 4,2020.

The proprietor of the foundation, Mr. Oyesanmi Chris Babalola, an Ikale indigene based in the United States of America, said he gave out the cash to assist the needy in this period of Covid-19 pandemic across the world.

“Our target at Roberts-Florence Oyesanmi Foundation is to provide financial reliefs to vulnerable people and those that could not afford to get food and other essential items at this challenging period.”

“I feel the pain of the people, and it’s on this note I’m giving back to my immediate community at this hard time. I implore everyone to maintain the laid down procedures and safety rules from the government in order to curb the pandemic”

Addressing our correspondent, the Coordinator of Roberts-Florence Oyesanmi Foundation, Ayodeji Allen, prayed God Almighty to heal the world of the devastating Covid-19 pandemic.

“May God heal the world of this devastating Covid-19 pandemic”, Ayodeji added.
