Popular Senegalese-American singer Akon has disclosed his preference between his younger Nigerian colleagues Davido and Burna Boy.
He indicated he’d pick Davido over Burna Boy, defending his preference for the former.
The 50-year-old record producer described Davido as a musical beast, one who’s been given less flowers (accolades) than he deserved.
He stated this on the Drink Champs podcast co-hosted by N.O.R.E and DJ EFN.
When N.O.R.E asked; “Davido or Burna Boy?”
The “Lonely” crooner replied: Uhhhh!!! I’ll probably go with Davido.
“Oh David! That kid right there is a beast. He’s the beast!!
“He’s another one I think that deserves more flowers than he’s received.”
