Mohbad’s Father Reveals Reason For Hasty Burial Of Late Singer

 

Mr Joseph Aloba, the late singer Mohbad’s father, has now revealed why his son was buried so quickly despite being a celebrity. According to vanguard News, the 27-year-old singer died unexpectedly last week and was buried the next day, Wednesday, in the Ikorodu district of Lagos State.

Since last week, fans and admirers of the late artist have been questioning why the family opted to bury him in such a fast manner.

However, Mohbad’s father has broken his silence on the reason for his son’s funeral. Aloba stated that the singer was still young, that his parents were still alive, and that according to Yoruba culture, there was no reason to keep his identity hidden.

In Yoruba culture, his corpse is not the type to keep when both of his parents are still living,” he explained. Assuming he died at a later age, we might have contemplated burying his remains and retrieving it later. We carried him away from there that night and buried him there.”

He also stated that he had planned to bury him on the land his son had purchased for him for the development.
