Miyetti Allah Chairman, Two Others Killed In Midnight Attack

Gunmen have killed Surajo Leader, the Katsina State chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), along with two other individuals in Kusada Local Government Area.

According to NAN, the attack occurred on Saturday night when the armed assailants raided Mai Rana community.

Reports indicated that the gunmen also abducted two wives and the daughter of the deceased, who is an undergraduate. The victims were buried according to Islamic customs, and the community remains in a state of fear following the incident.

The spokesperson for the Katsina State Police Command, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the attack and revealed that police officers responded by engaging the gunmen in a gunfight. The assailants fled the scene, leaving behind one of their vehicles and one of the kidnapped women.

Aliyu further stated that efforts to rescue the remaining abducted individuals and apprehend the criminals are ongoing. He called on the public to provide any useful information that may help in tracking down the perpetrators.
