Military destroys Lakurawa terrorist logistics base in Sokoto

The Nigerian Military has announced the destruction of the logistics base belonging to the Lakurawa terrorist group in Sokoto State.

Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, revealed during a press briefing that the operation was carried out through coordinated airstrikes by the Nigerian Air Force on Christmas Day.

Buba confirmed that the strikes targeted and hit the group’s primary base, resulting in significant damage.

“The airstrike indeed hit the logistics base of the terrorists, which triggered secondary explosions,” Buba stated, emphasizing the success of the mission.
