Leah Sharibu: Group Calls On Adeboye, Olukoya, Others To Intervene

The Council of Concerned Youth of Nigeria (COCYON) has called on Pastor E. A. Adeboye, pastor Kolawole Olukoya, pastor David Oyedepo, Pastor W. F Kumuyi, Prophet Hezekiah, and other anointed men of God and general overseers of Nigerian big churches to intervene physically and spiritually to fast track the release of Leah Sharibu who was held captive by the boko haram terrorist group in the northern part of Nigeria.

In a statement made available to Star News.com.ng by pastor Olumide Akinrinlola via an email, the group, COCYON, reminded all anointed men of God and general overseers of Nigerian big churches that Leah Sharibu is still in the custody of Nigeria dreaded boko haram terrorist group for refusing to deny her faith (Christianity).

Pastor Akinrinlola also hinted that the victim (Leah Sharibu) is 15 years old tomorrow according reports by the family.

The letter reads :

” The Council of Concerned Youth of Nigeria (COCYON) hereby call on anointed men of God in Nigeria ranging from pastor E. A. Adeboye,pastor Kolawole Olukoya, pastor David Oyedepo, Pastor W. F Kumuyi, Prophet Hezekiah, and other anointed men of God and general overseers of Nigerian big churches to intervene physically and spiritually to fast track the release of Leah Sharibu who was held captive by the boko haram terrorist group in the northern part of Nigeria. ”

“Leah Sharibu will mark her birthday tomorrow as a captive in the custody of boko haram. She is 15th years old tomorrow according to report from the family. ”

“We wish to remind all anointed men of God not to forget that Leah was deliberately not released by boko haram because she refused to deny her faith (Christianity ).”

“We are proud of Leah, she is a true child of God. Leah is girl every Christian across the world should be proud of. We hope to see all men of God in Nigeria prevail on the government for the timely release of Leah Sharibu from captivity”, pastor Akinrinlola stated

Recall that 14 year -old Leah Sharibu was one of 110 girls abducted by the Al Barnawi faction of   Boko Haram  on 19 February 2018 from the Government Girls Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe State, Nigeria.

Leah could have been freed on March 21st, 2018 but instead, she chose not to deny Christ anMOd is now in captivity due to her faith in Jesus Christ.
