-Kanté breaks the record of Xavi as France have not lost any of their 19 games at major tournaments when N’Golo has played. It’s 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 by any European player with 13 games won and 6 draws for N’Golo Kanté.
-France advance to Euro 2024 quarter finals, while Belgium are out.
-Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to score in any of his last seven appearances for Portugal at major tournaments, his longest such drought across the European Championship and World Cup.
-UEFA will investigate Jude Bellingham’s conduct during England’s 2-1 win over Slovakia. He may have violated rules with gestures made after his 95th-minute equalizer.
UEFA Statement: “A UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector will conduct a disciplinary investigation regarding a potential violation of the basic rules of decent conduct by the English Football Association player, Jude Bellingham, having allegedly occurred in the scope of this match. Information on this matter will be made available in due course.”

TRANSFER RUMOURS
-Anthony Gordon was denied his dream move to his boyhood club after Liverpool failed to make a bid that matched Newcastle United’s asking price. Gordon had been extremely keen on the move and his head has been turned by the interest shown in him.
-Aston Villa have signed Samuel Iling Jr and Enzo Barrenechea from Juventus for €22m.
-Ryan Sessegnon is training with Crystal Palace and could sign as a free agent. Talks are ongoing as Palace aim to move ahead of rivals. The 24-year-old left wing-back is nearing full fitness after hamstring surgery. Oliver Glasner has admired him since his Hoffenheim loan.
-Crystal Palace complete signing of Daichi Kamada (27) on a free transfer!
-Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad have an agreement in principle for Robin Le Normand. In the coming days, the clubs will exchange documents and formalize the operation. The final fee is around €28m-€30m.
-Borussia Dortmund are discussing personal terms with Lyon’s Rayan Cherki. A long-term deal is on the table with Cherki open to joining BVB. No agreement yet between both clubs.
-Raphael Varane is taking his time about a move to Como.
-Galatasaray signs Michy Batshuayi (30) on a free transfer from Fenerbahçe. He previously played for Beşiktaş.

-Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms in principle with Xavi Simons’ representatives. A potential transfer now depends on the player’s final decision and club to club talks.
-Rennes’ Désiré Doué (19) is high on Bayern’s list and could become a serious transfer target either this summer or in 2025.
-Juan Cuadrado has left Inter at the end of his contract. He will be a free agent.
-Manchester United line up £42m offer for Matthijs de Ligt after Dan Ashworth settlement.
-Jørgen Strand Larsen and Pedro Lima are both set to complete medical and sign as new Wolves players. Both moves will be completed this week.
-Archie Gray has completed medical and signed contract valid until June 2030 as new Tottenham player.
-Borussia Dortmund, advancing in talks with Ryan Cherki on personal terms. Long term deal offered with Cherki open to joining BVB as they want him with manager Nuri Sahin very keen.
-Vangelis Pavlidis’s deal to Benfica, is signed and confirmed on contract valid until June 2029.
-Ruud van Nistelrooy and René Hake will be part of new coaching staff at Manchester United, formal documents being prepared. Erik ten Hag will also sign new deal soon as part of Man United plans.
-Chelsea keep exploring options to bring in new left footed talented defender this summer. Riccardo Calafiori has been discussed internally at Chelsea and Arsenal with Juventus already on it since February.

-Marc Guiu becomes new Chelsea player from Barcelona for €6m clause. Chelsea triggered €6m release clause from Barça last week, deal has been completed on six year contract.
-Atalanta keep advancing on deal to sign Nicoló Zaniolo as reported weeks ago. Negotiations underway with Galatasaray on loan move with buy option clause to become mandatory under certain conditions.
-Michy Batshuayi has just signed in at Galatasaray until June 2027. Batshuayi will be unveiled shortly as new Gala player after playing at Fenerbahçe last season, he’s ready.
-16 year old winger Bendito Mantato on the verge of signing new scolarship and pre-pro contract Manchester United. Deal nearly done, final details being sorted then all sealed and signed. Mantato stays at #MUFC despite many proposals.
-Bayern new proposal to Bayer for Jonathan Tah will be submitted soon, club confident to get it done. Tah doesn’t consider PL or Saudi club, he wants to sign for Bayern.
-Dan Ashworth signs as new Man United sporting director from Newcastle! Ashworth will start at United immediately — set to work right now with Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada.
-Napoli are preparing new bid to sign Alessandro Buongiorno. Direct contact with Torino will take place this week as Napoli want to advance and get it done.
Total package of new bid expected to be around €35m.
