EURO 2024 UPDATES

-Xavi Simons is the youngest player to provide an assist in a European Championship knockout round game for the Netherlands in a game he started. 21 years and 72 days old.

-Cody Gakpo is the third player to score 3+ goals at two different major tournaments for the Netherlands along with Johnny Rep and Dennis Bergkamp.

-John Stones has played more minutes without being dribbled past 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 (390) than any other player at EURO 2024 so far.

-France are averaging the best tackle success rate (77.9%) at EURO 2024 so far.

-At 25 years 56 days old, Cody Gakpo is the youngest Dutch player to score and assist in a knockout match in a major tournament since Marco van Basten in the final of EURO 1988 (23 years, 238 days).

TRANSFER RUMOURS

-Tottenham sign Archie Gray on £40m deal from Leeds United. Joe Rodon leaves Spurs and joins Leeds on £10m deal as part of the agreement — all documents are signed. Gray signs for Tottenham until June 2030, shirt n. 14.

-Adrien Rabiot’s contract extension at Juventus, getting difficult as there’s no agreement over new deal. Juventus believe they made their best with proposal worth over €7m net per season. It’s up to Rabiot’s decision after the Euros; his camp is also talking to other clubs.

-Arsenal have already approved the exit of Albert Sambi Lokonga, talks are underway with Sevilla. Value of the buy clause being negotiated between clubs as player has given initial green light to the destination.

-Juventus agree deal to sign Khéphren Thuram from OGC Nice. Fee will be around €20m plus €5m add-ons, it’s verbal agreement waiting for technical steps to follow soon.
Personal terms also agreed on contract until 2029 as Thuram wanted to join Juventus, he’s ready to move.

-Medical tests are set for Khéphren Thuram as new Juve player could take place this week if clubs will be ready with process to exchange docs. Salary will be around €2.5m net per season. Juve see Thuram as excellent opportunity for €20m plus €5m add-ons.

-Dortmund will let Sébastien Haller leave this summer! His salary is €8/9M net/season. FC Juarez and Besiktas are keen on the striker.

-After Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Brighton, PSG are also showing serious interest in Crysencio Summerville, who is eyeing a top transfer this summer after a great season at Leeds United.

-Manchester United have been in active talks over contract terms with Joshua Zirkzee’s camp this week. AC Milan are still not happy with the agent fees on the deal.

-Matheus Nunes is currently the most likely player to leave Manchester City this summer, with interest coming from Saudi Arabia.

-Joshua Zirkzee would be interested in a move to Manchester United but Milan represent a ‘dream’ for the Dutchman.

-Chelsea considers Nico Jackson an important part of their project and won’t include him in any negotiations. Jackson is also happy at Chelsea and fully focused on the club.

-Álvaro Morata has officially announced that he is staying at Atlético Madrid.

-Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has signed for Chelsea on a five-year contract, with an option of a sixth. Fee around £30m.

-Tottenham are showing concrete interest in signing Désiré Doué from Rennes. Pedro Neto is also under consideration.

-Arijon Ibrahimović has signed new contract at Bayern until June 2027.

-Tom Heaton signs one-year contract extension at Manchester United.

-Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in Riccardo Calafiori and are working to understand conditions of the deal.

-There are Manchester United officials who are surprised Bayern Munich are willing to let Matthijs de Ligt leave.

-Liverpool could come back for Anthony Gordon if Newcastle drop the asking price. Liverpool WON’T pay crazy money for him.

-Bayern are obsessed with Xavi Simmons. They keep pushing to sign him. Leipzig are still in the race.”

-Victor Osimhen is expected to LEAVE Napoli. There’re many clubs that need a striker. Napoli’s main target for striker position is Romelu Lukaku.

-Matthijs de Ligt would be willing to take a pay cut to join Manchester United. The Dutchman earns around €15m/year at Bayern and United are offering below €12m/year. Bayern are very open to a sale at around €50m + add ons. United’s opening offer was a package of around €40m.

-PSG would be ready to make a move for Marcus Rashford, the moment the player makes it clear he would be open on the move.

-Nice and Juventus have reached an agreement for the €25M transfer of Kephren Thuram, with a medical exam scheduled in the coming days.

-Bayern Munich are prepared to let Matthijs de Ligt leave because they are confident of bringing in Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen. Tah is desperate to join the club.

-AC Milan are continuing talks with Chelsea over the signings of Carney Chukwuemeka and Romelu Lukaku.

-Manchester City are set to sign Savio on a five-year-contract until 2029 from sister club Troyes.

-Newcastle are set to offer Anthony Gordon a lucrative new contract to stave off interest from Liverpool.

-Mohammed Kudus’ £85M release clause at West Ham is now not available to be triggered until next summer.

-Burnley have agreed to sign Brazilian defender Lucas Pires from Santos for €2.5m plus a sell-on clause. Pires has completed his medical tests at Burnley today.

-Sevilla are in talks with Arsenal for Albert Sambi Lokonga – A loan deal, which would include an obligation to buy next summer, is now being negotiated.

-Nicolo Zaniolo is close to joining Atalanta on loan with an option to buy!

-Manchester United are willing to cash in on Harry Maguire this summer and sell the defender. West Ham wanted him in 2023 but he wasn’t willing to take a pay-cut. He’s also got admirers in Italy.

-Bayern want €20M-€25M for Noussair Mazraoui, who is expected to leave this summer. Turkish Süper Lig clubs are showing interest.

-PSG have contacted Bayern Munich to express their interest in Matthijs de Ligt.

-Ben Chilwell’s future is UNCERTAIN at Chelsea.
