Lagos PDP Chairman Kidnapped, Abductors Demand N200 Million

 

 

 

Philip Aivoji, the Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been abducted, with his captors demanding a ransom of N200 million.

Reports indicate that Aivoji was taken on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Ogere area along the Ibadan/Lagos Expressway. He was returning from the PDP South-West Zonal meeting held in Ibadan earlier that day.

In addition, a member of the Lagos State PDP Executive Committee who managed to escape the abduction is currently receiving medical care at an undisclosed hospital.
