A popular performance artist, Mukaila Senwele has reportedly passed away on Friday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
NPO reports quoted family sources saying that they got a call from a hospital that he was having difficulties but died shortly after.
It was learnt that Senwele, known for his unique style of performance had given no sign of any medical problems as he was with his fans till the evening of Friday.
No one could say at the time of filing the report the exact cause of the sudden death.
The late musician was reputed for his ability to compose on the spot using only his musical instrument which makes accompanying musical notes.
One of his most recent videos in circulation was with popular actress Laide Bakare where she made the actress the butt of his jokes.
Apart from being a musician, many people also regard him as a comedian.
NPO Reports gathered that the performer is slated to be buried according to Islamic rites in Ilorin on Saturday.
