Renowned Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has sparked mixed reactions on social media with his heartfelt prayers for his son who is set to relocate to the United States of America for university studies.
Kanayo O. Kanayo’s son recently gained admission to a university in America, and as his departure draws near, the veteran actor expressed his pride and offered a heartfelt prayer on his behalf.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Kanayo can be seen passionately praying for his son’s well-being.
He specifically requested divine guidance for his son to maintain his identity and orientation as a ‘He’ in the face of societal pressures.
The actor’s prayer also encompassed other significant aspects of his son’s life, including a focus on academic achievements and a reminder to prioritize values instilled in him during his upbringing, rather than getting distracted by superficial things like tattoos, and gender alteration.
In his words;
“America will be proud of you. Your achievements will cause America to celebrate you. You will imbibe the good of the land and eat the good therefore. You will continue to be a HE from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Nigeria. Your focus shall be on your books and job NOT ON TATTOOS. May you never depart from your upbringing. Do not forget God. You shall ever remain on God’s Radar and GPS. Good luck boy”.
