JUST IN: Vice President Shettima Chairs 146th National Economic Council Meeting

Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently presiding over the 146th session of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting, which began around 12:06 pm, is expected to be the final NEC session for 2024.

Discussions at the gathering will focus on various issues, including the states’ report on State Police and preparations for the 2025 fiscal year.

In attendance are state governors, deputy governors, and key members of President Bola Tinubu’s economic team.
