Just In: Tinubu Abandons Oyetola in Osun, Jets To Abuja

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has abandoned Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun state, due to what residents described as the anticipatory victory of the Peoples Democratic Party in the ongoing Guber election in the state.

According to reports from Osogbo in Osun state, Mr Tinubu sneaked out of the state before the declaration of the final results of the Gubernatorial election that he came to monitor in the state.

It was reported that the APC Presidential Candidate has been in the State with other Governors of the party, to perfect a winning strategy for their candidate.

However, from the results coming in from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Ademola Adeleke is taking the lead with a slim margin.

Starnews Nigeria gathered that Tinibu is currently in Abuja to hold a meeting with State House of Assembly Speakers under the platform of his party, APC.

Details later.
