JUST IN: Security Operatives Take Over PDP Secretariat

Security personnel have taken control of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat following a confrontation between Samuel Anyanwu and Sunday Ude-Okoye over who holds the position of National Secretary.

The dispute began when both men arrived for a Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting.

Tensions escalated when an aide of Anyanwu forcefully removed Ude-Okoye from the closed-door session.

This action sparked a heated exchange between their supporters, leading to chaos.

To prevent further disturbances, security forces, including soldiers, police officers, and civil defense personnel, stepped in and secured the premises.
