JUST IN: FG Reveals Date for the Completion of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

 

The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has said that the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is scheduled to be completed in mid-September.

The minister made the statement on Tuesday during a visit to the sites of completed and ongoing Federal Government projects in Lagos State.

This publication understands that construction work is currently ongoing on the last stretch of both sides of the expressway after several missed deadlines.

The minister was briefed by officials of the ministry and contractors handling different projects on that axis.

Umahi also inspected the reconstructed Apapa Oshodi expressway, the Deep Sea Ports, and other Federal Government projects.
