A Federal High Court in Lagos has directed businessman Oba Otudeko to appear before it and respond to charges related to an alleged N30 billion loan fraud.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a 13-count charge against him and three others.
During Monday’s hearing, Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke ruled that Otudeko must be present in court to take his plea before any objection to the court’s authority over the case can be considered.
Following this decision, the judge scheduled the next hearing for May 8.
