JUST IN: Aiyedatiwa’s Aide regains freedom

Gani Muhammed Ajowa, a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reportedly regained his freedom after days in police custody.

Renowned lawyer Tope Temokun disclosed this in a brief statement on his verified Facebook page.

Ajowa was allegedly detained by the Nigerian Police at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja for several days without trial or access to legal representation.

Starnews had earlier reported that the African Action Congress (AAC) demanded his immediate release. The party stated that its National Leader, Omoyele Sowore, and its legal team had uncovered the detention.
