Jubilation as Sen Tofowomo illuminates Ilutitun community with Solar Street Lights

There was jubilation across Ilutitun community in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State as Nicholas Tofowomo, the Senator representing Ondo South at the National Assembly lit up the major street in the community with the installation of Solar Street Lights.

Starnews Nigeria reports that the solar street lighting is the first of its kind since the existence of the community which would give the town a sense of security, extend market hours, and reduce criminal activities for the benefit of street users.

According to the distinguished Senator, the lighting of the town becomes necessary in his determination to put an end to the age-long darkness on the major street from time immemorial.

No fewer than 50 solar street lights were installed in the town with a promise by the Senator to install more of it in other streets for the benefit of the residence.

The installation was completed on Thursday.
