A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Adekunle Olubunmi Olumide, has expressed optimism that the post-primary election crisis rocking the party in the state would soon be nipped in the bud.
Adekunle who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Starnews NG, noted that the party was working on leaving no stone unturned in harmoniously uniting disgruntled members.
It would be recalled that the Senator representing Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim, had approached the court, seeking nullification of the primary that produced Aiyedatiwa as the Candidate of the party ahead of the November 16 governorship election in the Sunshine State.
She said, “Yes of course, the issue will be resolved before November 16, more so APc is known to have a very strong structure and very competent leaders who know what the law stipulates and I believe they are leaving no stone unturned to make sure post-primary election matters are settled before the due date.
She added, “As for my advice for the gladiators, unity will be my message. We are members of one political party and we are all progressives, our common goal is Victory at the general election, I advise the aggrieved to embrace peace and unity so that we can retain the state for our dear party for the good work to continue”, she said.
