Jigawa Governor loses son 24 hours after mother’s death

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has suffered another tragedy with the loss of his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.

This comes barely 24 hours after losing his mother.

The death of the governor’s son was confirmed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel.

According to reports, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, tragically died in a fatal car accident while travelling from Kafin Hausa to Dutse.

It was gathered that he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to somersault and losing his life in the spot.

It was also gathered that his friends who were with him sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Dutse General Hospital.

However, his remains have been transported to Kafin Hausa for burial.
