Irele, Ondo State — A significant milestone was achieved today as Hon. Daisi Akinrodoye, the Acting Chairman of Irele Local Government, laid the foundation stone for a new Chairman’s Lodge, a multimillion Naira project aimed at creating a modern administrative hub for the local government.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held at the local government complex, marks the beginning of a new chapter in governance and development for the residents of Irele.
Starnews NG reports that this initiative reflects Hon. Akinrodoye’s commitment to delivering impactful projects just two weeks into his tenure.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) of Irele, the Secretary of Irele Local Government, the Supervisor for Agriculture, the Supervisor for Women Affairs, chairmen of the five political wards, the treasurer of Irele Local Government, and the APC Public Relations Officer in Irele.
In a statement on Friday by Ayoola Omomunijoye, Chief Press Secretary to the Acting Chairman, said, “This new Chairman’s Lodge will not only serve as an administrative center but also as a symbol of progress and the transformative power of visionary leadership.” He emphasized Hon. Akinrodoye’s dedication to exceptional leadership and innovative solutions that prioritize the needs of the community.
The new lodge is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of the local government and provide a conducive environment for governance and public service delivery.
As the community comes together to celebrate this momentous occasion, Hon. Akinrodoye said, “I implore the good people of Irele local government to support the administration of our amiable governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa in his endeavours to build a brighter future not only for Irele Local Government, but across the 18 councils of Ondo State”
