International Friendly: Super Falcons To Face United States In September

According to a report, Super Falcons are set to face world champions, the United States in an international friendly game, Starnews.com.ng understands.

 

Super Falcons who is ranked number one in Africa is currently campaigning in the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco and is aiming to qualify for the 2023 World Cup through the competition.

 

Apart from being the defending champions, the United States have secured its place in the tournament slated to hold in Australia and New Zealand.

 

The report further suggests that it will be a 2-match friendly and has been fixed for September 3rd and 6th.

 

This will be the second meeting between both sides in the last 15 months, having met in June 2021.
