In Ondo PDP, you have a firm ground, PDP BOT member tells Okunomo

You are the first to start this race. You are a marathon runner. It is better for a younger person to be a leader in Ondo State than the elderly one. Your age is a plus to you in this governorship race.

You have done to show that you are a very serious aspirant. That accident you had in September 6, 2019, brought out the man in you. If you become the governor of Ondo State, I know you will do it very well.

With the naira and kobo you have spent so far, no one can doubt your capacity to run for this office. I don’t see many aspirants in the governorship race for the ticket of PDP in Ondo State. I only see you, Eddy Olafeso, and Eyitayo Jegede, as the only three governorship aspirants in PDP that are running.

And I want to tell you that you have campaigned vigorously than any of the PDP governorship aspirants in this state. I am sure that others would soon concede defeat to you. I will be the happiest person to see you becoming the governor of Ondo State under our party (PDP).

In Ondo PDP, you have a firm ground for three reasons: you started early, you are definite and you already have a crowd of supporters. So, don’t be distracted my brother.

Starnews NG reports that these were the words of Chief Segun Adegoke, a member of the board of trustee of the People Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, to Banji Okunomo, a governorship aspirant of the party who paid him a courtesy visit in continuation of his political visit to the 18 local governments of Ondo State to seek the supports of PDP stakeholders in realisation of his governorship ambition in view of upcoming PDP primary election in the State.
