Ibadan Explosion: Hotel Manager Dies Over Heart Attack

 

 

One of the victims of the explosion that occurred at Dele Oyelese street Bodija estate in Ibadan, Oyo State, Mr Tunde Solomon is dead.

He was the Operations manager of BON Hotel Nest, Mr Tunde Solomon.

The notice of his death was conveyed in a statement by the management of the hotel.

According to the statement, the deceased suffered a heart attack during the explosion which lead to his death.

The statement reads in part, “We regret to inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved Operations Manager, Mr. Lode Solomon.

“Mr. Solomon suffered a heart attack on the 17th of January 2024 and if is believed that was as a consequence of the explosion which occurred on the 16th of January 2024 of Bodija.

“Mr. Tunde Solomon was a vastly experienced member of staff with more than 25 years in the industry.

“His commitment to his role and his contributions to the growth of BON Hotel Nest I badan and the BON group in general during his tenure were invaluable.

“His loss left a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege & of working alongside him.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr.Solomon’s family during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with themes they navigate through this challenging period.”
