Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has bravely shared the painful truth of being sexually assaulted five times throughout her life.
Speaking with Biola Bayo on the “Talk to B” show, she expressed her unwavering stance against rape and emphasized that no one, not even family members, would be spared from accountability in such cases.
In addition to the shocking revelations about her traumatic experiences, Ojo delved into her family history, sharing that she was raised by her grandmother due to her father’s struggles with addiction.
She also disclosed that her father, who battled alcoholism and drug abuse, passed away at 49.
Reflecting on her complicated family dynamics, Ojo spoke candidly about the hardships she faced while growing up and the emotional toll they took on her.
The actress made it clear that her commitment to fighting against rape is unwavering, stressing that she would confront anyone, including her own son, if they were ever implicated in such acts, The Nation reports.
Ojo also addressed her past relationship with her father, noting that their estrangement coincided with her decision to marry a man she was deeply committed to.
